The Resource Center

We are a walk-in center in downtown Reno for homeless, runaway, foster and other at-risk youth between the ages of 12 and 24. Open Monday – Friday from 10 – 5, youth visitors can access “care and comfort services” including showers, laundry vouchers, snacks, clothing, free wi-fi, cell phone charging, a tech lab and the Chill Zone – a safe space to spend time off the streets. Youth Visitors can also access the following:

• Northern Nevada Hopes (Medical Screening)
• Food Bank of Northern Nevada (Food Pantry and Monthly Mobile Pantry)
• Community Service Agency (Employment Service)
• Pacific Behavioral Health(Individual and Group Substance Abuse Counseling)
• Northern Nevada Literacy Council – HiSET and GED Connections
• Washoe County School District (Children in Transition)
• Tech Zone – Free Wi-Fi and Cell Phone Charging

• Children’s Cabinet Services (Safe Place)
• TMCC Workforce Development & Adult Education
• TMCC Enrollment/Financial Aid Assistance
• Free tutoring and mentoring programs
• Community Services Agency (CSA-Employment)
• Awaken (Trafficking)
• Safe Embrace (Domestic and Sexual Violence)
• Washoe County Health District (Sexual Education and Testing)
